About Mrs. Mills

This is my seventh year with the 2nd Grade Team at Flagstaff Academy. I have a master's degree (MAT) in elementary education from the University of Northern Colorado, and a B.A. in psychology from Metro State University in Denver. I love everything about teaching and am always researching and reflecting to be as good as I can be for our awesome 2nd graders.

I am an "almost" native of Colorado, having moved to the Western Slope (Grand Junction) from Michigan (GO BLUE!) when I was eight years old. I have been married to a Longmont native for 31 years and we actually live in the house he grew up in :-) . Our daughter went to college in Chicago, and now calls it home, and our son is in 11th grade at Longmont High School and loves to play football.

In my free time, I like to read, hike, eat, listen to music, hang out with friends and family, and annoy my husband with house projects.
