For student Odin Mitchem, having a friend was meaningful.

“Friendship was really important to him,” Flagstaff Assistant Principal Terri Long said. “He was one of those kids who had a conflict, he wanted to make sure it worked out.”

For student Odin Mitchem, having a friend was meaningful. “Friendship was really important to him,” Flagstaff Assistant Principal Terri Long said. “He was one of those kids who had a conflict, he wanted to make sure it worked out.” Odin passed away at the beginning of this school year, but Girl Scout Troop 4020, many of whom were his classmates, wanted to make sure his goal was not forgotten.

Flagstaff Academy Takes Top Honors at Regional STEM Fair

Flagstaff Academy, Northern Colorado's premier science and technology public prek-8th grade charter school, announces that seven middle school students took TOP honors in the 2017 Corden Pharma Colorado Regional Science Fair on Friday, March 3 held at Nevin Platt Middle School. Flagstaff Academy is the only public Charter school in the St. Vrain Valley School District to place and be awarded such high honors.
