enVision Math
Using the enVision curriculum, we produce confident students who are not only able to correctly compute, but also to apply concepts to new situations. These materials gently develop concepts, and the practice of those concepts are extended over a period of time. We incorporate manipulatives and real world practice to build solid knowledge of Core Knowledge math standards. My math class not only teaches students the standard algorithms and practices, but also tries to scaffold their ability to explain their reasoning and thinking behind their solutions. Please make sure to practice addition and subtraction facts by doing 1 session of iReady Math Instruction a week.
