Allison Cole is a native of Texas, and has also lived in Israel, Canada and several other parts of the United States. She attended Baylor University for undergraduate studies, and the University of Texas at Dallas for a Master's in Science Education. She also has a horticulture certification, and owned a garden business for five years. Ms. Cole is very excited to be the Greenhouse Manager/Teacher at Flagstaff Academy. When not in the garden, she can be found hiking or reading. Ms. Cole's family operates a timber farm in the Piney Woods of East Texas, and she remains very interested and involved with the timber industry. Ms. Cole moved to Colorado with her family in 2003 to enjoy the mountains and beautiful outdoors. She looks forward to working with all of the children here at Flagstaff Academy, and is excited to get families involved in backyard, patio and neighborhood gardening, composting, and habitat activities.
