Middle School represents a critical time in a student's life - academically, socially, and developmentally. Flagstaff Academy's Middle School is a close-knit community where every student is known, where every student is supported to reach his or her potential through rigorous classes, plentiful leadership opportunities, and a connected social environment. From the annual trip to Colorado State University's Pingree Park trip, to the high school-level computer programming classes and 1:1 Chromebook Program, to a wide variety of "essentials" (electives), to our Character Education, or our sports program and clubs, our middle school graduates consistently outperform their peers and are prepared to succeed in high school, college, and grow into leaders in our communities. Flagstaff Academy is the only middle school in Colorado that moves the entire middle school to the mountains for three days of science exploration and outdoor education.
Flagstaff Academy Middle School promotes, values, and recognizes academic achievement, creativity, and character education, with a strong focus on Restorative Justice. As a St. Vrain Valley School District public charter Middle School, students are able to participate and compete in District Sports as members of Flagstaff Academy's after-school sports teams. Our Middle School students are very active in Student Council, in our National Junior Honor Society Chapter, and most go on to become honors-award students in area high schools.
