Flagstaff Academy is Longmont's largest public charter school. Our school offers a tuition-free Core Knowledge-based curriculum for grades kindergarten through 8th. We also offer a fee-based full- and part-time preschool program on-site. Preschool students receive priority entrance into Flagstaff elementary school.
Flagstaff Academy middle school is recognized as a Colorado Trailblazer Schools to Watch by The Colorado Association of Middle Level Education. Flagstaff is the only charter school in the state to hold the Schools to Watch designation, having also received the designation in 2019.
Known for a strong science and technology focus–as well as a core-knowledge curriculum–Flagstaff graduates continue to be recognized on the local, state, and national levels in science, technology, athletics, and the arts.

The Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education (CAEE) awarded Stacy Wolff, Flagstaff Academy Charter School elementary science teacher, with the Outstanding Environmental Educator Award at the 26th Annual Excellence in Environmental Education Awards Celebration. The award recognizes the exceptional contributions made by Ms. Wolff to her community in environmental education.
