Why Choose Flagstaff Academy Preschool?

girl painting bowlFlagstaff Academy’s high-quality preschool program serves children ages 3-5, offering both part-time and full-time options. Established in 2009, our fee-based program follows the Colorado Early Learning Guidelines and incorporates The Creative Curriculum, Handwriting Without Tears, and Heggerty Reading.

All teachers are qualified Early Childhood Educators, CPR/first aid certified, and supported by visiting elementary teachers in music, technology, and science. We also partner with organizations such as the WOW! Children’s Museum, KidSpace Launch, the Butterfly Pavilion, and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

We create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills. Through play-based learning, they build friendships, explore the world around them, and discover the joy of learning. Our program also features specialized instruction in horticulture, utilizing our one-of-a-kind outdoor greenhouse classroom.

We welcome our preschool families who feel comfortable sharing their customs and cultures. All elements of children's lives come together to nurture them to help learn how to problem solve, develop tools for conflict resolution, and become effective communicators.
