Boys Basketball
Flagstaff Academy boys basketball runs from October to November each year. Teams play other SVVSD district middle schools with the goals of developing teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership.
The 2025 Season runs from Tuesday, Sept. 30 - Monday, Nov. 10
Registration Information
Registration for the middle school boys basketball team is open to 8th grade students from Thursday, Sept. 18, to Monday, Sept. 22. If spots remain, registration will open to 7th and 8th grade students on Tuesday, Sept. 23 on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested players are to line up outside the west vestibule doors behind the orange cone. Forms will be collected by Mrs. Rollman only starting at 7:45 a.m. If spots remain on Wednesday, September 24th registration will be accepted for 6th, 7th and 8th grade on a first come first served basis. Priority for playing in games will go to 8th grade students, with 7th then 6th graders filling any remaining spots. Spots will be filled to 35.
How to Register
- Sign and turn in a completed Student Permission Slip.
- Complete and turn in a basketball Registration Form.
- Log on to the Flagstaff Academy Webstore and pay the Boys Basketball Athletic Fee of $55 (payment link will not be active until Thursday).
Practice Schedule
Afternoons: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Mornings: Thursdays, 6:15 - 7:45 a.m.
Optional Morning Shoot Arounds: Tuesdays, 7:00 - 7:45 a.m.

Financial Assistance
Families needing financial assistance should first apply for the district's Free & Reduced Education Benefit, if not already completed. Please also check the "notify my school box" on the form. Families must also complete the Athletics Financial Assistance Form. Acceptance into the free/reduced lunch program ensures free registration for athletics.
