About Ms. Gianetti

My name is Jennifer Gianetti and this is my eleventh year at Flagstaff Academy. I have taught both second and third grade here at Flagstaff. I am excited for this school year and to be part of this amazing school!

I grew up in Salem, New Hampshire, just north of Boston, Massachusetts. This is where my love of the outdoors began, as my family spent summers hiking and camping in the White Mountains. I loved New Hampshire so much that I attended the University of New Hampshire and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management and Policy. In 2006 I made my way to Colorado and obtained my Master's degree in Elementary Education.  

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside partaking in a variety of activities.  Running is one of my favorites and I try to get out as much as possible. My husband Gary also shares this strong passion for playing in the outdoors.  We run, hike, snowshoe, kayak, climb, and ride our bikes together. We share these passions with our daughters, Alexis and Cassidy. We also enjoy traveling and visiting with friends and family.
