About Mr. Charlebois

My name is Joe Charlebois and this will be my fourth year at Flagstaff Academy. I taught the first three years in 4th grade, and will be transitioning out of the classroom to begin my first year as the Middle School Counselor. I was born and raised in Colorado and currently reside in Fort Collins with my wife Michelle and our pup Macklin. I began my teaching career in the Denver Public School District. I have taught English as a Second Language in South Korea from 2013-2017. I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and received my Masters Degree in School Counseling from the University of Phoenix back in 2012. 

 

I care about fostering and guiding students along on their academic path while helping them develop into positive and independent students within our school community. I strive to engage, challenge and hold students accountable for their learning inside of a fun, safe, and accepting classroom.
