About Track and Field at Flagstaff Academy
Track and Field is open to all 6th through 8th grade students. There are no tryouts for the team; if you turn in the registration forms and pay the athletics fee you are on the team. Athletes are expected to uphold the Dragon PRIDE expectations as they are representing Flagstaff Academy.

Practices are Monday - Thursday, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Most meets are on Monday. Track and Field athletic fee of $55 is due at the time of registration.

Middle School Co-Ed Track and Field includes:
  • 100, 200, and 400, 800 & 1600 meter races
  • 100 and 200 meter Hurdles
  • Discus & Shot Put
  • High Jump, Long Jump & Triple Jump
  • 4x100, 4x 200 and 4x400 meter Relays

Athletes should come prepared for practices with running shoes, athletic pants/shorts, a water bottle, and sweatshirts. Colorado weather can change rapidly and we want to ensure athletes are prepared.
