Time: 8:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

Optional Lunch/Recess:  11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

PM Extended Day:  12:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

In this Camp you will learn about the destructive power of natural disasters and how they can impact communities and ecosystems. Explore the science behind hurricanes, floods, and more through fun experiments. We will create sugarcube sinkholes, make a sandstorm, make a seismograph, learn about plate tectonics using orange peel, learn how volcanoes work and watch them explode, plus more! This is a fun hands-on camp, come get blown away!

We will be walking to Get Air to try out the Hurricane Simulator.

Each day, campers must bring the following:

  • Shoes for Outdoor Play (No flip-flops)
  • Fridays Only - Something to get Wet in
