About Mrs. Mills

This is my ninth year with the 2nd Grade Team at Flagstaff Academy. I have a master's degree (MAT) in elementary education from the University of Northern Colorado, and a B.A. in psychology from Metro State University in Denver. I love everything about teaching and am always researching and reflecting to be a good teacher for our awesome 2nd graders.

I am an "almost" native of Colorado, having moved to the Western Slope (Grand Junction) from Michigan (GO BLUE!) when I was eight years old. My husband grew up in Longmont, and works in the pharmaceutical industry. Our daughter went to college in Chicago, and now calls it home, and our son is in his sophomore year at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.

In my free time, I like to read, hike, eat, travel, listen to music, hang out with friends and family, and annoy my husband with house projects.

I love being a Flagstaff Dragon!
