Lace up those running shoes, Dragons—the Flagstaff Academy 100 Mile Club is back for another year!

Beginning this fall, students of all ages and running abilities are invited to join us before school every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:20 a.m. Our home base will be the middle school recess area when Mother Nature cooperates. When Colorado decides to give us snow, rain, freezing temperatures, or anything else unpleasant, we’ll move the fun indoors to the gym.


💯 THE CHALLENGE
The goal is simple: How many miles can you run, jog, or walk during the school year?

Maybe you reach 25 miles. Maybe 50. Maybe 100. Maybe you discover that you are secretly an ultramarathoner trapped in the body of a fourth grader.

Whatever your goal, every. mile. counts.

👕 NEW THIS YEAR: MILESTONE T-SHIRTS!
Club members will have the opportunity to purchase an official 100 Mile Club T-shirt for $25.

On the back of each shirt are four very important boxes:

☐ 50 MILES
☐ 75 MILES
☐ 100 MILES

As students reach each milestone, we’ll mark their progress and celebrate the accomplishment. And, folks, we are not talking about a polite little golf clap. Each milestone will come with special recognition, collectible prizes, and a fun ceremony to celebrate the hard work it took to get there. Students who make it all the way to 100 MILES will earn some extra-special bragging rights…and perhaps a surprise worthy of a Dragon.

🎉 EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
Running is only part of the fun. Throughout the year, we’ll mix things up with theme days, challenges, contests, music, surprises, and other questionable ideas designed to keep our Dragons moving and having fun. You never know exactly what might happen at the 100 Mile Club. You just know there will be running involved.

Club dues: $25 per semester
Optional 100 Mile Club T-shirt: $25

🐲 WHO CAN JOIN?
The 100 Mile Club is open to all Flagstaff Academy students, all grades, and all ability levels. You do not need to be fast. You do not need to be an experienced runner. You just need to show up, keep moving, and see how far you can go.
