Middle School Life

Annual Outdoor Education Trip

Each year, our Middle School students take an annual trip to Pingree Park, Colorado State University's field station. Flagstaff Academy is the only middle school in Colorado that moves the entire middle school to the mountains for three days of science exploration and outdoor education. Students learn the principles of field ecology, stream ecology, astronomy, wilderness hiking and survival (including Leave No Trace principles) and engage in confidence building activities on Pingree Park's rope course. The 2018-2019 Middle School Pingree Park Trip is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19-Friday, September 21, 2018. Learn more!
