2019-2020 School Year - Showing our Dragon PRIDE!

Flagstaff Academy is ready to greet the 2019-2020 School year with Dragon PRIDE, based on the school's Core Virtues and essential values - Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dependability, and Empathy. As Mrs. Katie Gustafson, Middle School Principal states:

"Dragon PRIDE will be highlighted each month in school assemblies and lessons, which are age-appropriate. We will also feature service opportunities, aligned to the school's strategic plan, which will incorporate grade level and classroom projects, as well as service opportunities from our student leadership groups: Student Council and National Junior Honor Society."

In keeping with the school's Dragon PRIDE, the first day of school began with the annual flag raising ceremony, helped by American Legion Post-32 in Longmont, as well as officers from Flagstaff Academy's National Junior Honor Society and Student Council. The entire school gathers in the parking lot to watch the American flag be raised, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and the school's "Dragon Pledge."
