Kenna Guttridge, Spanish Language
Mrs. Kena Guttridge is originally from Mexico City, and is a member of the Colorado Congress of Foreign Language Teachers. Ms. Guttridge believes that when we give someone the gift of learning a language, we are opening opportunities for understanding and respect of other cultures, and breaking barriers to give them the key of the door that will open to incredible journeys! This is what drives Ms. Guttridge's passion for teaching Spanish to students of all levels. When Ms. Guttridge is not teaching, she can be found playing with her young children, swimming, dancing or working on her farm.
Kelye Lotz-Andrews, Music
Kelye Lotz-Andrews has been making music her entire life, and teaching children of all ages for the past thirty years. A graduate of the University of Florida and McGill University, Kelye began teaching Musicare when she and her family moved to Boulder in 2007. Musicare is based on the Orff Schulwerk, a developmental musical education approach combining music, movement, drama, and speech into lessons that are similar to child's world of play. As a mother, a veteran teacher, a musician, and the co-director of a young children’s music camp, Kelye is thrilled to combine her love for music with her love of children.
