About Ms. Wolff

Ms. Stacy Wolff is returning for her 13th year at Flagstaff Academy!  She received her Bachelor's Science degree in Entomology and Wildlife Conservation, with a Minor in Biology from the University of Delaware.  She holds a Masters in Education focused on place-based education and watershed science.

She also served as the Colorado Mountain Club's Youth Education Program Manager where she engaged students in academics through mountain recreation. Ms. Wolff has experience in scientific research ranging from monitoring endangered piping plovers to wetland assessments. She has also taught science for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Jane Goodall Institute, public schools, and environmental learning centers. She strives to inspire students to become life-long learners, better understand the natural world, engage in their community, and get excited about science! Ms. Wolff is an avid hiker, backpacker, skier, and climber.  She loves investigating geology, flowers, and birds is also an enthusiastic gardener.

In 2022 she was honored to be awarded the Outstanding Environmental Educator award from the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education.
