Domes Sprouting on Colorado Campuses
EdNewsColorado.org feature Flagstaff Academy in it's article on schools across the state building and using greenhouses as an educational tool. RESTORATIVE JUSTICE SUMMIT

BIKES AND BOOKS
Flagstaff Academy recently partnered with Xilinx, the Longmont YMCA, and the Bicycle Longmont Christmas Bike program to collect books and bike for local families in need this holiday season. Flagstaff families donated over 1000 books and 50 bikes, significantly contributing to making a difference in many kids' holiday season. The items were distributed at the annual Y Pals holiday party, as reported by the Daily Times Call at: http://www.timescall.com/news_story.asp?ID=19746.
ST. VRAIN VALLEY DISTRICT TECHNOLOGY FAIR 2010
Two of our Middle School students, Jacqueline Reh (8th grade) and Sam Sartor (7th grade) were big winners at the St. Vrain District' Technology Fair on February 6, 2010. Jacqueline took first placed with her tennis shoe system that generate electricity. Sam took third place with his Sterling Engine project
Both projects were built for the Flagstaff Academy Science Fair. These students were hand selected by Mr. Moore and Mr. Ingersoll to represent Flagstaff at the Tech Fair. The kids modified their projects slightly to comply with the requirements of the Tech Fair and submitted them under the "technology" umbrella. Sam and Jacqueline competed against several other Middle Schools to earn their place on the podium.
