
RAFT provides teachers with inexpensive and accessible resources such as hands-on learning kits, materials, and teacher workshops. RAFT connects with local business to turn their surplus materials into interactive learning experiences for students.
Grants to RAFT, funded by the Xilinx Educational Ecosystem, have provided Flagstaff teacher memberships and purchasing power at the new Denver RAFT, as well as an upcoming family science night ("SNAP" night ) to be held at Flagstaff Academy.

Junior Achievement teaches students workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy by using hands-on experiences and activities to help students understand the "economics of life."
Junior Achievement relies on volunteers from the corporate world to teach their carefully developed classes in schools. At Flagstaff Academy, JA classes have been taught in all grades, mostly by volunteers from Xilinx.
