my name is David Roy and I'm the choreographer and director of Apex dance we bring dance to the schools but the same time we were using dance to teach alright so today we're going to be learning about cell's membrane really enjoy programs like this we get to come into the schools and work with kids all ages of not only teaching them how to move in a different way but getting to incorporate their curriculum and to dance and helping them to make those connections a different way now does the moon go around the Sun  it goes around the earth let's say you had a 40-minute lesson plan to do in your classroom finding out if the students work for 10 or 15 minutes take a two or three minute movement break get their blood flow to the brain you'll get more done in that 40 minutes then if you just had him sit down with no break open to moving physically that helps you remember different topics in a different way and it's also a very cool way to express yourself we have a grant through sync 360 art to bring Dave and Abby from Apex dance to show us some great dance moves one more time Diamond one water technology and the goals to use act technology for our knowledge but also it does have a sit-down for long-time whether your students or we as parents or adults count eight hours a day we're finding between our nutrition and our inactivity were winding up with a lot of health issues circle with obviously is to keep moving and then educated about proper switch switch down up incorporating movement in the classroom not only gets students active but helps them understand Concepts in a so when they're sitting there for a long. Of time they tend to zone out and their brain goes elsewhere and focuses on anything else other sender School working so when they get up and they get moving on their blood gets going their brain starts turning on in various ways when when they get back to their work they can focus on the material that they're learning about when we finish a class and all the you're smiling and saying now I'm a little bit now I'm Olympics can you change the air
